Coffee Concert Series - November

Saturday 9th November

11:00am | Llandaff Parish Hall | Free

Join us for a hot drink, piece cake and an hour of live music!

Perfect for those who enjoy live music, those who feel isolated and those in need of a warm place. Throughout the concert, audiences will enjoy delightful live music along with tea and cakes.

Our Coffee Concerts Series started as a Songs and Scones Concert during last summers Festival. These concerts are truly heart-warming experiences which bring families and friends together, offer new experiences, and allow many to re-visit memories from the past. These concerts are fully accessible and also suitable for people living with Dementia and their carers.

Welsh soprano Clara Michelle Greening is a student on the MMUS Performance course at RWCMD. She was awarded the 2024 Eileen Price Prize for Lieder Singing and 2022 Orpheus Voice and Guitar Prize. Clara was the 2024 runner up in the prestigious Llais Llwyfan Llanbed competition, and Pontrhydfendigaid Eisteddfod Welsh Solo and Oratorio prize winner. Passionate about community music, Clara volunteers at the new RWCMD ‘Good Vibrations!’ Parkinsons Choir and enjoys outreach projects introducing opera to young children.

Recent engagements include soprano soloist for the National Youth Brass Band of Wales under Erik Janssen, Chorus for RWCMD’s ‘La Bella Dormente nei Bosco’ and ‘A Midsummer Night’s Dream’ performing with the National Youth Choir of Wales as soprano section leader and choral soloist and performing as a soloist with Sir Bryn Terfel for his concert ‘Pan Ddaw’r Nos’.
